The new black, blonde, brown, and... platinum?
Students around Hogwarts campus have been sporting a new look-- red hair! The rare hair coloring has become rather popular and sought after ever since Ronald Weasley, 15, won the Quidditch house cup for his house as he played Keeper on the Gryffindor team. "Chicks really dig the hair," a sixth year Gryffindor comments as he runs his hand through his newly dyed red hair. "Gosh, I think he's just dreamy! Those freckles really accentuate that brilliant hair of his, too! I wish he was my boyfriend!" cries a rather flustered second year Ravenclaw girl about Weasley. We were not able to get anymore interviews since shortly after, a crazed Quibbler staff member began beating the poor girl with a broomstick yelling strange codes like, "R/H forever!" Further information on the Ravenclaw student and the staff member has not yet been released, but we do know that the staff member is suffering from an incurable disease. It is believed that the red dye was purchased from the newest store along Diagon Alley, Weasley Wizard Wheezes, run by Ron Weasley's older twin brothers. Instead of having to learn the spell needed to change your hair color, a special concoction, believed to also exist in the Muggle world (as a bushy-haired Muggleborn witch told us) will change your hair into the preferred color. It is rumored that polka-dots and glow-in-the-dark hair dye will come out soon, but the recent Wheeze fiasco involving a significant amount of fuchsia may delay the newest addition to this original line of hair care products. However, some young people believe that the fiery color quickly sweeping throughout the school is nothing but a passing phase. "Shall we all be pathetic Quidditch players and suddenly trip and save a goal? If so, I could make the whole school switch to platinum quite soon," comments Draco Malfoy, a fifth year Slytherin Seeker. But peeved as he is, a half empty bottle of red hair dye with its label ripped off, was found in his Quidditch locker. |
