Ginny’s Jaunts
Draco/Ginny?

Ginny Weasley, 14, is the new “flounce” at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Lavender Brown, 15, tells us. Whilst gossiping with her best friend, she also mentioned the youngest Weasley was almost through with the whole Gryffindor house. TQ was not sure of what “almost through” meant, so she clarified for us. “She’s liked Harry Potter for the longest time! (“Duh,” Parvati Patil, 15, added.) And now that she finally figures out she can’t have him, she’s trying her luck with every other boy at Hogwarts! I’d say ‘flounce’ is a nice way of saying what she really is.”

More questioning reveals that Ms. Weasley used to be with Michael Corner, 14, and now she is rumored to be with Dean Thomas.

“It won’t last,” a reliable, misty-eyed source tells us. “Ginny’s an adventurous girl. No offense to Michael or Dean, but they’re just not her! In fact, they’re boring, really. Even I think so. I think the Gryffindor guys are kind of like appetizers for her at the moment. What she’s really looking for is probably in Slytherin house.”

Who is the most sought-after male residing in Slytherin house? “DRACO MALFOY!” A group of excited girls (of assorted years) tells us.

After peeking into Ms. Weasley’s records, nothing on behaving out of the ordinary can be found. She is a loyal member of the Gryffindor house with good grades and good friends. Very good. Does she really want to tango with the likes of Draco Malfoy?

“Sweet little Ginny isn’t any angel, we’ll have you know!” Fred and George Weasley, owners of Weasley Wizard Wheezes and older brothers of Ginny tell us whilst ringing us up. “Yeah! I mean, she can even lie to mum and keep a straight face!” Fred tells us.

“But she’s developed quite a nice set of raging hormones! You ought to see all the attitude in that kid! Mum wants to talk about stuff with those who’ve come of age, right? And Gin storms and rages all the way up the stairs and back into her room since mum says she can’t stay and listen! Sure, it’s great she’s got a backbone, but still…” George trails off.

Ginny used to be the quiet girl who lived in Harry Potter’s shadow, but as of late, anything but Harry is on her mind. True, teenage girls her age are always thinking of guys, but it’s a strange 180-degree turn for a person like her to make. She used to be shy and she’d keep to herself, but now she’s got a mess of boys after her and tons of girls to talk to. She hangs out with her own friends now, though Harry and company are still her friends as well.

And then there’s the infamous Draco Malfoy. He’s the badboy of Hogwarts. Would Ginny, the supposedly fallen angel, do him any good?

The way Ginny Weasley is going through boys, the future may hold the answer to that!
