Muggle's Movie Mania
And the Wizards Who're Witnessing

Everyway you turn, posters and advertisements warn you of "something wicked" this way coming while suspenseful trailers appear every so often on the Muggles' "telly". Dozens and dozens of merchandise, from dolls to t-shirts to candy, are produced; all to promote the latest installment to the movies based on the life of our own Mr. Harry Potter, the popularity of which is something amazing, if not a bit unsettling.

"It's odd," comments Arthur Weasley, head of the Department of Muggle Artifacts. "They find us all so fascinating. Don't they realize they're fascinating themselves?"

'Fascinating' seems to be putting it mildly. What with the large amount of 'websites' (*) dedicated and even worshipping our world and nearly everything in it, these Muggles are in a league all their own. There's even a gush of authors and artists, both young and old, writing 'fanfics' and drawing 'fanart', all trying to depict the wizarding world and the people in it in their own creative way.

"It's amazing, the things they come up with," muses Eri Midmarch, a local archive witch**. "Why, there must be millions of stories and artwork dedicated to young Mister Potter and his friends. The attention's enough to drive anyone bonkers."

They seem to be handling it well, though.

"It's flattering, in a way," says Ron Weasley, the proclaimed 'side-kick', who's sprouted his own following. "But at the same time, it's unnerving to read the things they come up with about me." He trailed off with a slight blush, muttering something that sounded an awful lot like, "I do not like her."

Of course, not everyone is thrilled to hear about the Potter Mania.

"Of course," says Draco Malfoy, the so-called 'bullying git from Slytherin'. "It's not surprise to me at all. Everyone loves and adores Potter. Potter, Potter, Potter!"

It seemed quite clear that Mr. Malfoy did not realize he's got a following of his own -- nor the size of it.

Hermione Granger, gal pal of Harry Potter, had this to say on the matter: "I think it's great. It's a wonderful way to spread the word, and for them to better understand our world. Now if there were only a way to switch it around..."

When asked of his thoughts about the actor portraying him, Harry Potter had this to say: "I think this Daniel was the best choice to play me. You can tell he's growing with every new story, and so am I."

And the Muggle world shall continue to watch him grow, for as long as his story continues, so shall the fans' faith.
