Secret Animagi
Do they still exist at Hogwarts?

Besides the obvious reasons, it really isn’t hard to tell the obvious. Draco Malfoy is a secret animagus and his transformed form is that of a glossy white ferret.

Like I said, it’s obvious! Well, it is for me since I’ve seen him in his transformed form! It was during my third year when I rounded a corner and saw a brilliantly white-colored bouncing ferret bounce toward me. It really is odd to see a bouncing ferret…it’s odd to randomly see ferrets, too… but to see any small creature bouncing… it’s odd to see wizards bouncing, too…except Headmaster Dumbledore, though—he’s a terrific bouncer! But anyway, I thought the bouncing furball was a puffskein at first, but before I knew it, there was a grand “BANG!” and he’d turned back into his human form. His hair looked absolutely awful! Lucky for him that the only other people in the corridor was a group of students highly enthused by whatever their Professor Moody was speaking to them about.

But I understand if that’s not enough proof. After all, only I saw him. But just look at his hair! It’s so white-blonde! Some argue that it’s platinum, but it’s the same as white-blonde, really. But whatever—it’s simply not natural to have hair color of such a shade! He takes such nice care of it, too! It’s always shiny…like an animal’s fur!! I have a cat at home and she grooms herself all the time and her fur’s really shiny, too. So I guess Draco’s animal-like traits and behavior further support his being a ferret.

If the above two reasons don’t have you convinced, then this next one’s got to get you! Have you noticed Draco’s endless quest to make a certain Ronald Bilius Weasley’s life miserable? One of the names he calls him is “Weasley”, but this really doesn’t mean much as far as insults go—it’s just a male-territory thing. Think about it!

What’s the real difference between a weasel and a ferret?! Uh…nothing! The two call each other “weasel” and “ferret” respectively since they know one another’s true forms! Yes! Ron Weasley’s a secret animagus, too! I’ve yet to see him transform, but he honestly is! There’s no other explanation to it! But I shall come back to explain once I’ve more information! For now, I must go tend to my sudden craving for frog legs… they’re good for you—did you know?
